New security advisory: BIND cache poisoning
There's been
quite
some
hoopla
about the latest DNS bogons found.
NetBSD has
a security advisory
out now:
Juicy details include a number of further background links, the list of
affected operating system versions (current before Jul 10, netbsd-4
before Jul 24), how to work around the problem by instructing
IPfilter for people using NAT/PAT, and most important detailed
upgrade instructions on what needs to be rebuilt on various
NetBSD branches/releases to sleep well again.
