NetBSD on Intel-Cobalt/Sun Raqs - more data
Dave Barnes has sent
more information about this to port-i386 and port-cobalt
(which I can NOT find on either mail-index.NetBSD.org nor
GMane, even as the replies to it are there...?!), describing
issues and solutions for running NetBSD on (Intel-equipped) Sun
machines. Points seem to be that you need a recent ROM, use a small(!)
bzip2'd
kernel, need a serial port that can handle 115kBd and can't neither
automatically boot to multiuser mode nor reboot/halt the machine
without power-cycling. See Dave's
NetBSD on x86 RAQ webpage
for a lot more data.
