Zaptel driver, to run Asterisk VoIP'n'stuff
Asterisk is a Open Source (GPL) PBX (telephony) system that allows
doing analog and digital (ISDN, VoIP) calls, provides voicemail services
with directory, call conferencing, interactive voice response and call
queuing. It has support for three-way calling, caller ID services, ADSI, SIP and H.323 (as both client and gateway. To use it efficiently,
hardware cards to access hardware lines like the
boards from Didium exist,
and Jeff Rizzo is working on the "zaptel" driver for NetBSD for these boards.
