How to setup 6to4 IPv6 with SuSE 7.3

General setup

• /etc/nsswitch.conf:

  	hosts: dns6 

• /etc/resolv.conf: add

  	nameserver 2001:638:a01:2:a00:20ff:fe20:e254 

• /etc/rc.config.d/inet6cfg.rc.config:

  	SIT0_TUNNELIP="194.95.108.191"
  	SIT0_TUNNELROUTE="::/0" 

• SuSEconfig
• sh /etc/rc.d/inet6 stop

Operation

• start PPP w/ IPv4 adr 0xd9eb533a (from "ifconfig ppp0")
• sh /etc/rc.d/inet6 start
• ifconfig sit1 add 2002:d9eb:533a:1::1/64 up
