• Boggle- and Crossword-Solver, see README-File for details. Needs perl, and probably some adjustments for general use. Feel free to ask for help, this is unpolished code, I have a pure crossword-solver with a dictionary available on request!

• pq2vwcarnet: Scripts for cleaning up Geocaching Pocket Query files by Groundspeak in GPX so they can be uploaded into the Volkswagen CarNet.

• POPsync: Sync a POP server with a local mbox file, upstream

• adr: Simple ASCII-based address database. Includes a frontend to search for arbitrary strings as well as telephone numbers (regardless of their format in the database. Also includes vCard (RFC 2426) converter for easy integration into Apple Addressbook.

  Available on request.

• termine: A simple ASCII-based calendar. Knows about single date events as well as monthly (e.g. 1st monday) and yearly (e.g. 24.12.) events. Includes a C program to print events in the next N days (default: 7), usually used as a daily cronjob. Helper programs are available to output dates in HTML format for the Web, and as iCalendar (RFC 5545) exports for importing it into Mac OS X' iCal and Microsoft Outlook.

• fcookie: Fortune cookie program and database. Uses an on-disk index for O(1) access regardless of size of cookie file.

• sysupdate.sh: Allows an easy update of a NetBSD system's userland from binary sets (base, ,... - whatever is in /usr/mtree). Also see if etc and xetc need an update. If so, run etcupdate. Assumes that the new kernel (and for 6.0 and later, modules) are installed and running, then change to the sets directory and type "sysupdate.sh" and follow the on-screen instruction.

• g4u: Ghosting for Unix - harddisk image cloning for PCs

• ipcalc: a simple Javascript-based IP subnet calculator, for IPv4.

• EasyInstall: concept and supporting scripts to allow easy installation and deinstallation of precompiled Open Source software packages in a Unix environment. Developed on NetBSD, also used on Solaris and other commercial Unix environments in 199x. Predecessor to pkgsrc on NetBSD/amiga.

  At the time there was als a build system "EasySWM", but this this seems to be lost in time (or maybe some VERY old backups...)
