Pros and Cons:

Documents are converted as a whole or are being devided into small parts automatically (document segmentation), if requested. The conversion doesn't need any corrections, as long as no lists are used. These aren't recognized properly and must be fixed by hand. Images are embedded in the native format of the platform the RTF file was created on, i.e. Windows MetaFile if the RTF text is from Word. They must be converted into HTML manually later. However, it is possible to only place thumbnails on the HTML page and create links to the big images automatically.
